Closed for the Winter

I must apologize for the complete lack of posting here all year.
We are now closed for the season, and will reopen the cottages again in mid-April.

Hopefully I will do some back posting of fish from the many charters Scott did this Fall!

Maple Syrup season post #1

A few years ago we starting tapping our sugar maples as a hobby and to see what we could get out of our trees.  We were pleasantly surprised to discover that we get quite alot of sap and can make quite a bit of syrup. We sell it in our store in the summer; here is a link. 

Scott and Don put the lines out yesterday and soon we will start collecting.  Here are a few pictures from last year to whet your appetite.

Located on beautiful West Lake facing the Sandbanks, you will be minutes from The Sandbanks Provincial Park and the Sand dunes park location.  

Bring a bike, canoe or a beach blanket, but most of all don't forget to bring a camera!

Fishing and Swimming in West Lake is a treat. 

 It's a smaller lake (an inlet lake to Lake Ontario) so we don't get the large crashing waves and it's  sandy bottom lake which means warmer temperatures than Lake 

Ontario and nicer to walk in!  

We also offer Water tubing excursions for those looking for a little adventure and a quick throw into the lake.

ICE skiing

This is a little different than how WEST LAKE looks in the summer!!

You can see that the Sand dunes are snow covered in the background there.  Instead of building sandcastles, these days they are perfect for sledding!

Now that we have changed our company logo,  we have had the 2 vehicles done.
